Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the United States. And, as you probably know, it’s the annual date we set aside to gather with friends and family to give thanks for what we have including everything from our health to a roof over our heads.
However, this year, please make sure to give thanks for your business. After all, you might not have what you have if it weren’t for your company.
Give thanks for what you have built and how it has grown – if even sales are up or flat – you have something that many Americans which they had: your own business.
Give thanks for your employees. Oh, they might grumble when you give them extra work, or perhaps they were hoping for an extra day off during the holidays, but they are part of your team. And, even though they might not say it to you, they are thankful for their job and the paycheck you give them.
Give thanks for your clients and customers. Without them, you would not be in business.
Give thanks for your support group, which includes your accountant, banker, lawyer, etc. They are always good allies to have on your side.
And, finally, give thanks for your family and friends who have been there for you during the hard times and support you every day and every way they can.
Happy Thanksgiving!
